12 Days of Christmas Bloghop- day 11

Hello awesome people- back again!  This has been such an amazing hop for me.  :)  I'm so honored that Lisa asked me if I wanted to do it again from last year.

Day 11- one more day and we're done, y'all.  I'm kind of sad about that. :(  That's ok- there's always next year!

Here's what I made for y'all today:  a poinsettia frame!

I made the poinsettias from THIS BLOG with 1 exception- I pinched the ends.  once you make them, you'll see what I mean.

Here's what you'll need:
various paper
1 picture frame
tacky glue
1 pine cone
winter woodland (to cut out holly leaves)
martha stewart pine branch punch.

make the poinsettias from the tutorial in the blog posted above.
Cut out SEVERAL holly leaves -I think I did mine at 2".
punch quite a few branches from the MSPB punch.

Happy gluing around the frame!

Take the pinecone and tear off "petals" from the back giving you a flatter surface to glue onto the frame with.  Glue him on, let everything dry overnight.

I think this frame is unfinished.  I think I'm going to add some yellow buttons to the centers of the poinsettias.

So, here's the lineup, and I'm so glad you've made it this far- I'll see you tomorrow for the final day!

12 days bloghop... my day 2!

Can you feel the excitement in the air???  I am SUPER jazzed about this project- I absolutely love it!

I used Winter Woodlands and cut 9 pages worth of holly leaves.  186.  No kidding.  Yes, I actually have a lot left over, so that'll be used for a candle base or something.  IDK, but they won't go to waste.  that's a guarantee.

Anyhoo, Are you guys enjoying Lisa's hop so far?  We're on day 9 for her, and my 2nd appearance here.  I am so honored that she asked me to be in it, and I'm so thankful for that. :D  I love all of my hoppers, and if you're just passing, I'd LOVE for you to stick around for a little bit- become a stalker (subscriber) and leave a comment.  there's good stuff when you do.

So, today's official blog hop started with Lisa  and after you're done here, you'll be going to the very talented Diana.

So, you see the wreath and here's what I used:
9 sheets of Bazzil cardstock in Rainforest.
1- 12" foam wreath
Winter Woodlands cartridge
10 feet of wired ribbon (or less, I made a bow and will show you in another video)
glimmer mist, or homemade shimmer spray
hot glue/ glue gun
hanging wire
Christmas berry spray pick
bone folder and mouse pad
ribbon

And here's how I did it:

so don't forget- the question of the day is What is your favorite Christmas cookie?

Merry Christmas day 2!!!!

my CardzTv challenge

Ok, so Mary over at CardzTv has issued a bunny challenge this week!  She's making a bunny card every day.  I unfortunately have the want, but not the time to do so, so I made 4 mini 3x3 cards.

This is a mini 3x3 card.  For the bunny I used Winter Wonderland cartridge cut at 1 1/2 inches.  For the daffodils, I used the Walk In My Garden daffodil border cut at 2 1/2 inches.  For the middle of the flower, I chalked the flower in a goldenrod chalk color.

for the bunny I used a glitter glue (don't know the name) for the tail.  I would have used flocking if I had it, and after s/he was assembled, I sprayed him with a shimmer spray I made.

I'll post all details in an edit a little later, I just wanted to get this in before I ran to grab dinner!
